The Beginner’s Guide To TRX Training
Story of TRX
Let’s begin talking about the origin of this tool and its evolution through time.
The first prototype of TRX was made in 1997 by a Navy SEAL Squadron Commander, Randy Hetrick, who created it using only a jiu jitsu belt and parachute webbing. From there the prototype began to evolve first with the release of the “Travel X” in 2004 and then with the launch of the first TRX Suspension Training course in 2005. Now the TRX is an established training method with a defined structure and qualified trainers everywhere in the world.
Anatomy of TRX training
When a body is suspended, its center of gravity tends to move, making more difficult to stabilise the body. That’s the core idea behind the TRX. Utilising this principle, the TRX develops strength and balance in a dynamic format that strongly stimulates the nervous system, resulting in a complete and holistic training.
Benefits of TRX training
TRX training has a lot of benefits, but probably the biggest one is that anyone can get something from it; You can in fact use this training method for an Olympic athlete and for an absolute beginner and they will both have tremendous fitness gains from it. This thanks to its unique structure that enables you to adjust the difficulty of an exercise just changing slightly your body position.
That said TRX is also an extremely versatile jet simple tool to workout every single muscle in your body, improving cardio, strength and balance much quicker and more effectively than most of the other traditional training methods, allowing you to create a healthy and well-balanced physique.
As we said before TRX is suitable for everyone providing a wide variety of difficulty levels. That characteristic enables you to reach any goal, simple or incredibly challenging; whatever you want to achieve, you can do it with TRX.
Additionally, it has a very low impact to your joints due to its suspended nature and it can help to treat some common problems such as low back pain and similar.
In conclusion TRX is a fun, complete and healthy training method that everyone should try at least once and that will definitely help you in taking your fitness to the next level.
